When you first start using law of attraction, you may decide that manifesting abundance is what you really want in life. And this is certainly the first thing which comes to mind for most people.
However, there are two problems with the word abundance. First of all, it has been overused and in the process has lost much of its impact. And secondly, it is a rather nebulous term.
For example, you could have an abundance of tomatoes, but that is probably not what you had in mind. And even if you do qualify it by saying that you want financial abundance, it's still open to interpretation. A homeless person's definition of abundance could be a millionaire's definition of poverty.
So if you focus on manifesting abundance, you may well find that you don't get the results you want.
What should you do instead?
The most effective way to manifest an abundance of anything, is to work out exactly what you really want. Think carefully about your desire for more money and ask what you want that money for. You want to be able to pay your bills and buy the goods and services you desire without having to think twice about it.
So what does this tell you about what you really want? In this case what you are really looking for is peace of mind - the peace of mind which comes from having those bills paid and being able to afford everything you need and want.
This technique also has the advantage of enabling you to manifest more easily, because peace is a higher vibrational state than upset or worry, which are often the feelings which accompany a lack of money and a desire to manifest abundance.
When you are experiencing peace of mind, you are able to achieve so much more than you could if you were in a state of agitation.
When your next bill arrives, instead of saying "I want to manifest abundance", go straight to the root of your desire and say "I want to manifest peace of mind about this". If you are calm and your vibration is high, all options become available to you.
Your culture and society have taught you that you have to "do" in order to get something, but a better path is to "be" in order to receive. Peace of mind comes from being, and resisting the temptation to do.
Of course, this will immediately bring up the question: "How do you get things done, if you don't do anything?"
The trick is that when you choose to act, act from a place of joy, a place of peace and a place of relaxation, as far as you possibly can. And only act on those things which will continue to raise your vibrational level.
