How to Achieve Amazing Results With Little Effort

Many people are actually quite lazy when it comes to working. The good news is that it is possible to not really care too much about anything and take it easy and still achieve great results. Most of the jobs are hilarious because it seems that the most important thing is to look like you are very busy on something while actually very small amount of the day is used for productive work in the company. Here are some tips for mastering this art to the fullest:

1. Focus on the relevant stuff.

This is the most important tip I can give you. Many people do lots of work but they focus on tasks that are really irrelevant. You can be different and focus only on the things that will matter in the end. If there is a project that is in the end supposed to benefit the company financially - then focus on the most relevant things that will actually help the company to make more money, and you will be noticed. After the project is done, no one remembers if you looked like you were working a lot. All that matters are the results.

2. Be effective when you work.

Don't try to do everything perfectly, but focus instead of being very effective when you decide to work. Sometimes it is enough to really put yourself into the work for one hour a day, because if you skip all the irrelevant things, such as cleaning your desk, you will get a lot done even in one hour.

3. Don't plan too much.

People spent awful lot of time just planning how everything is going to be done. Of course sometimes it is necessary if the costs of wrong decisions are going to be huge, but 90 per cent of the time it is much wiser to just trust your gut feeling and start working. You can always fix things afterwards anyway.

4. Create a good network.

Social contacts and relationships in the business and workplaces are usually more important than the actual results one is able to create. Also knowing the right people helps you to get a lot more done, because you have to spend less time for trying to find out things yourself. Help other people to succeed too, and they will be glad to assist you whenever you need help.

5. Skip all the things that don't really matter.

Do not spend your time by going to unproductive seminars and meetings that obviously are not going to help you to do the things that really matter. Use your phone or send an e-mail whenever possible.

6. Do not stress.

Many people do lots of unnecessary work just because they feel like they are supposed to do something all the time. Stop stressing and take it easy. Let things happen around you and don't try to control everything. After all, the companies' problems are not yours.

7. Focus only on the best ideas.

In the end one really good idea that brings a lot of attention to you is much more valuable than 40 mediocre ideas, so focus only on the best ideas and make sure that they are so good that people will notice them and the company will benefit from that. It will be remembered and you will get all the attention you deserve.

Some of these tips require a little bit work before you can reap the benefits, but as they will help you to achieve more by working less in the long run, they are definitely worth the little effort. Have fun, do what is needed, and enjoy your life even when you are working!
