The Top 10 Ways to Raise Your Vibration

Here are my Top 10 Ways to Raise Your Emotional State/Vibration/Mood. I've listed several other options at the end. Check out the Scale of Emotions to read more about raising vibration on my blog (see link at end of this article).

1. Follow Your Nose

I have found some essential oils that can shift my emotional state very quickly just by getting a good whiff. You can find these in health food stores and spirituality shops. Do some test sniffing and select some fragrances that really light you up.

2. Gratitude & Appreciation

Gratitude is an automatic mood changer. Just focus on anything you are sincerely grateful for in your life and you will rise up to a level 2 on the scale. Appreciating can be even easier. Walk around your home and look at things and feel appreciation for them. Even when you're driving around town, look at things and people and appreciate them.

3. Listen to the Music

Music like scent, can provide an instant lift. Make sure you are choosing music that truly lifts you into high states. There is a lot of music out there that actually lowers your vibration.

4. Find Something That Makes You LOL

I love Youtube for this one. There are so many funny clips available online from tv shows and comedians. I recommend you make a folder in your web browser that is dedicated to "Funny Stuff" and whenever you want to lighten up, you can do some viewing. One of my favorites: "America's Funniest Videos."

5. Reach Out & Touch Someone (Call a Friend or Family Member)

It's amazing how much better you can feel when you just take your attention off of yourself and put it on someone else. So, give someone a call and feel the connection!

6. Play With Your Pet

The more cute and cuddly the pet, the better. Cats can provide several minutes of high quality entertainment - we use a children's fishing pole with a plastic bug tied to the end. True "cat fishing." Dogs can be fun too, of course. Take your dog for a walk or play just play fetch for a few minutes.

7. Go for a Walk in Nature

Get outside and enjoy a little piece of paradise. Really take in the scenery without labeling things with your mind. You can see nature in ways you've never seen it before. Fresh air, sunshine, exercise... All good vibration raisers.

8. Do Something You Really Enjoy Doing

For me, it's playing guitar. I can get lost in that pretty fast, and I always feel better when I'm lost in something I love doing.

9. Tune Into the Spiritual Level

Make contact with your spiritual guides, angels, Jesus or whomever you feel a high vibrational connection with in the spiritual realm.

10. Read an Inspiring Passage from One of Your Favorite Books (or Listen to Some Uplifting Audio)

Again, redirecting your mind toward something positive and uplifting is a game-changer when it comes to moods. Have a few favorite books in your workspace and on your nightstand for easy access.

- Smile
- Play with a child
- Remember some fond memories
- Visualize/fantasize about some area of your life you'd like to be better
- Remember a scene from a movie that you love
- Look at pictures that inspire you
- Meditate, chant or pray
- Do some breathing exercises
- Eat some healthy foods
- Imagine you just won the lottery and think about all the ways you'd spend your millions
- Stop watching/reading the news
