The Empty Vessels of Motivation

Some modern thinkers are hung up on the decision to share the words of mortal men in like manner as believers share the Word of God. Whereas the Word of God is GOSPEL, the words of mortal men are referred to as Motivation. Some speakers and writers alike continually present the empty vessels of motivation.

There is a distinct difference between the power in the Word of God and the reactionary words of motivation. The Word of God works from the inside out. Motivation depends upon outward influences in order to make an inward impact. Motivation needs a motive; a reason for doing certain things about situations.

In most cases, the words of mortal men convey only a dull reflection of the thoughts that were projected by Prophets of God over two thousand years ago; and also within the past two thousand years, which include the teachings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

The words of mortal men are counterfeit when compared to the original Word given by Almighty God to Prophets in the Bible.

In many ways, motivation is like a bandage placed on a festering wound. There is need for the bandage to help heal the wound. And in order for that wound to heal, the bandage must be frequently replaced. Eventually, when the wound does heal, there is no need for the bandage any longer.

Motivation works in like manner. After a need or a cause has been duly fulfilled, the thirst for said motivation, having been quenched, is no longer present. If this motivation was all we depended upon for our everyday existence, after we have met our earthly goals we could find ourselves left with the feeling of emptiness.

But let us face the facts. The Word of the Prophets, as received from God, continue to form the basis of everything that is good in our everyday lives.

Solomon, a man of great wisdom, has bequeathed to all generations the knowledge which forms the tenets of what is good and acceptable in the sight of God. His words, found in the Book of Proverbs, do not simply act as a bandage in times of crisis, but they also serve as a rudder against the stormy seas of life. And they certainly are not empty vessels.

Like it or not, we face the stormy seas of life from the moment we step out of bed. We constantly find ourselves at one point or another along life's journey. We are either going through stormy seas, about to go through stormy seas, or we have just passed through storm seas.

However, we should continue to show our gratitude to God: because the life we live is not our own. This life is loaned to us by God. And just like God gave Adam and Eve the freedom of choice, we also have the choice as to how we live our lives on a daily basis.

God gave the first couple on earth the freedom of choice, and that choice has been extended down the ages unto this very day.

My friend, you too, have been given that choice. You can choose to accept the real thing or the substitute; the imitation. You can choose to be imbued with the dogma as presented by motivational speakers and writers, or to receive the blessings of God through His Holy Word. The choice is yours. It is up to you. You pay the price you reap the reward.

Upon recognition of that receipt of the freedom of choice, which would you rather choose: real gold or fool's gold?
The answer speaks for itself, doesn't it? Choose real gold. Choose the Word of God, and pray for those who have been caught up in the flesh, and try to void the Word of God by preaching the empty vessels of motivation.

10 Ignored Reasons Why People Never Reach Prosperity Even If They Really Try

Most people involved in self help motivation will argue that they will never reach prosperity simply due to the fact that they have absolutely no idea what prosperity even is. The biggest home and the fanciest car. There is also the endless flow of cash, and world travel.

They see prosperity as only the things that money can buy. So many fail to look inside them and see what it is that really makes them rich. It is as if they are out to sabotage themselves with faulty thinking. Here are ways in which to destroy that misconception.

1. We Are Undeserving.

The fact that we see ourselves as undeserving will give us an inherent attitude of unworthiness. When we see ourselves as losers; losers we will be.

2. Family Beliefs

This is the lot in life that was handed to you and this is what you must learn to accept. Rubbish! Some of today's wealthiest citizens came from nothing, but refused to stay there. Fortunately, good self help motivation will destroy that wrong belief very quickly

3. Feelings Of Fear And Anxiety.

This is our safety zone. We may not like it here but this is what we are used to. It is a large, frightening world out there and the thought of venturing into it fills us with fear and anxiety. So we stay stuck and prosperity eludes us.

4. There Is Virtue In Being Poor.

You work hard everyday. At the end of each week you bring home a meager paycheck, but a paycheck nonetheless. What about others who depend on a welfare system to support them. I am virtuous for not doing the same.

5. Just Plain Luck.

The fellow who lives next door just won the lottery. "See, I told you, prosperity is nothing more than sheer luck." Balderdash! Luck is what we make it. It is not the luck of the draw!

6. They Were Born With Money.

Oh yes, of course, the Rockefellers have been rich for years. Some self help motivation books tell stories of that family. The truth is that at one time there was a Rockefeller who made the money that the rest of them were born with.

7. Life Is All Hard Work And Struggle.

Yes, it can be. Still, there are many who would not choose to live otherwise. If you are not content with your lot in life seek out ways to change it.

8. Limited Aspirations.

The only limits to prosperity are the ones you set. Have you ever looked for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow? Of course, there is nothing there but is there any reason why we cannot enjoy the walk.

9. Never Forget To Have Fun.

Prosperity is boundless in this aspect. It doesn't matter how much money you have in your pocket. Self help motivation courses teach to share a joke with a friend, step in a mud puddle, and share two straws in a root beer float. Whatever it may be, remember to laugh. Prosperity for the soul is the least expensive of all.

10. Maintain A Pessimistic Attitude.

Here's a self help motivation tip for you: seeing the proverbial glass as half empty versus it being half full is merely a matter of choice. We may never attain all the riches life has to offer but our perception of wealth is purely our own. The man who has nothing can have much more in the way of riches, than the man who has it all but has nothing.
