Faith Or Fear

The only enemy of your faith is fear. If you can be afraid, your faith can be paralyzed. The highway then is to decide to confront your fear. Be daring. Consider the worst possible outcome and dare it. Do so, if you don't like what the current situation is. Muster the courage. Some people live above all the rules that freeze your feet. They just dared it one by one until they came to a conclusion that there's nothing and no one to fear. They have tried it repeatedly with the same result. Remember the boy in your elementary school class who dared everyone else. Remember the guy in your high school class who dared the toughest and cruelest teacher. Did he get away with it? You bet. Did he get in trouble a few times? You bet. Is that what you are afraid of: getting in trouble? You might be running the rest of your life. You don't want that, do you? Then, break the cycle. Turn the wheel the other way. Give your competitor a run for his money. Look fear in the face and never, ever blink. It will bow.

I am not an advocate of reveling in the wrong. That's folly. There's no point in trying to drive the world crazy. But there's too much timidity in the church. We have to kick it out. "The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion." Your reality does not represent universal truth. Search for more knowledge and roll out your wheels. Get daring, but make sure you are not on the wrong side of the law. Put your faith to work. Your faith is like a tractor. If it never works, it's never happy. It rusts and ruts away. Get it to plough and harrow and power your cabin. You'll need routine servicing. Park it in the amphi-garrage of your farm and you'll pay much more in maintenance service.

How much more have you paid for not having grown up with a great faith till now? How much more would you have gained? How long are you willing to wait? Why not begin this very day? What on earth is holding you? It's your life, dear. Are you faithless, holding on to a fledgling little faith, or working on garnering a great faith? Will you let circumstances push you around, or will you march in the forefront of the only life you've got this side of eternity? Will you go on for very long, ruled by myths and superstitions, or will you cut off from the system of the bondage of doubt and fear? Will you stout-heartedly meet life's tough challenges pre-determined to conquer, or will you quiver and shiver and cringe and crush? Get through the rudiments and understand how the many hurdles of life will manifest as three major variants.
